Royal Mail Parcel POP tracking.

Another question on this.

I sent a parcel today and entered the tracking number on ebay.

I then clicked on the link to check I put the right number in but Royal Mail tracking is saying the number is not valid?

I am putting in the exact number that is on my receipt.

Is this normal? I would of thought the number should already be in the system?

I have also had one not update even though it was sent 10 days ago.I have not heard from the buyer so I assuming it has been delivered.

Sometimes when this happens it can be because you have muddled O and 0 - letters and numbers.

OP, it depends on the service you have purchased. Is it a tracking reference or a proof of delivery?

BTW I saw your thank you thread and hope everything is going well.

Proof of postage reference no that shows when a parcel is delivered.

It is showing as valid today so it must take a while to show on the system.

My other parcel is still not showing as delivered.

They took him off the ventilator on tues but he was struggling to breath again today as he has a chest infection now.

They have heavily sedated him and put him back on the ventilator and cannot do the MRI until he is off it.

So hard to see my 'baby' brother all 6ft of him lying there like that and nothing I can do.

The hospital staff are amazing. All the time we are there they are doing something to him. I do not know how they do it but so grateful there are people like them in this world.

Trying to carry on and do normal things but it is so hard.

It wont be 'active' until its first on route scan.
Likely within the mail centre in their 'outward' operations.
