I am pleased some bugga is older than me :rotfl:
I had no idea about a liberty bodice, we got rid of our coal fire in 2002 (worst thing we ever did) yeah remember ice in bedroom windows, are jubblies not still about? I always think of Man from Uncle when I see Ducky in NCIS.
What years was BBC2 first broadcast?
jubblies: https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/gb/groceries/jubbly-orange-8x62ml?
one jubbly - plural jubblies
not had one for years
although you may be thinking of another type of jubblies and there are a lot of them about0 -

I think those are similar to the ones I remember, but of course they were much bigger in my day:rotfl::rotfl: (wasn't everything). We used to get them from the chip shop, they were triangular and by the time I'd finished one my mouth was sore from the ice crystals. Happy days, eh.0 -
The question was whether I could remember these things happening. A lot of things have happened during my lifetime that I cannot remember (sometimes I can barely remember what day of the week it is:rotfl:). As a child I was probably more interested in what I might be able to watch on tv than the death of an eminent politician.
I find it hard to distinguish now from actual memories and things I was told happened when I was young.
Oh my youngest son will love you do you know Dr Who?
I have been a Whovian since the days of watching Patrick Troughton (my mum sat next to him on the tube once) from behind the sofa. Though obviously Jon Pertwee was my favourite.Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.
Virtuous action, now, at this very moment.
(Wisdom, Courage, Self-control, Justice)
Willing acceptance - now, at this very moment - of what you can’t change0 -
