We took our elderly cat to a local vet for an out of hours panic ,,
They kept him in over night andwe picked him up the folllowing morning.
Asked how much and paid off the 200+ pounds ( arrgh!!) on my Debit card.
Now a week later just got an invoice from them asking for more money as they say ?? they missed off something .
It this extra charge onto top of the original exorbitant amount allowed /enforcible ?

they are sayingthey missed the overnight stay off ..
Can't really say anything else as never had any details on what was done , other than the bloodwork that was paid for at the time of puss pickup

So you receive the overnight stay, and have not paid for it.
Therefore you have to pay for it, they have 6 years to chase you for a debt and they were able to provide the service for your cat so even if you weren't legally liable, morally you certainly are.
OOH services for something like a vet is never going to be cheap at all.0 -
A £200 vet bill isn't exorbitant. Sis-in-laws bill was £7k+ for treatment for her dog and this was 14 years ago. The dog died less than year later.0

Afraid it is for you to pay, if they say it is for an overnight stay and wasn't included in the original bill. Mistakes happen! Just check the original bill that you have paid to ensure this wasn't included on it.
Do you have pet insurance? Can they help with the costs?0 -
They have up to 6 years to come after you so yes, it's time to pay up.0

You should be given a detailed invoice. If you were not given one you can ask for one.0
