Commission compensation on ppi

Hi

Hoping some one may be able to help please!

My partner stupidly paid a company to reclaim PPI. He has received a letter from one creditor saying he has been awarded £1900 but they have said they cannot agree that PPI was mis-sold. He has been awarded it as they found that his PPI premium included a high level of commission. Does that mean he still has to pay the PPI company their fee- as wasn't for PPI?

Is a long shot I know....

Many thanks

Jess

  • The Claim Company will demand a % cut of any redress regardless I'm afraid.

The time to avoid any payment was before you signed a legally-binding contract with them.

    Too late now!

Make sure you pay them before they send round the debt collectors
