Morning all. My chap did a wonderful job cleaning the carpets yesterday - it's just a shame they are a yucky brown colour to start with! They are definitely towards the top of the list of things to replace when DS & DD get a bit older.
So today I am concentrating on putting everything back and getting the lounge declutterred and tidy.

Morning peeps, made myself a cuppa and thought I best have a sit down with it as been drinking on the go usually, so thought I would pop in and say hello. Have go kids off to school, filled 2 boxes, done a load of washing, flinged 2 bin bags of junk, cleaned Sonic out (hopefully take him over today aswell) and vacuumed where doesn't have a box on it. I think that is all but was probably more.
Pigpen they haven't set an exact date for the op but he has to go back in a week for pre op tests then hopefully within a few days from then depending on if emergencies etc happen. They're trying to set a date at a meeting next Monday but it can change. Little one who'd just had the same op is going home on Monday I think she said. Just on phone to Matthew's Mammy now and he's doing great. One day I might be more organised...........

I cleared my desk, but I'm not sure quite the way pigpen intended. I've put everything on an empty shelf on the bookcase
I've moved my desk so it's against a different wall, and it's so much better, it actually feels like the room is bigger which is a good thing because it's quite tiny.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
Glad Matthew is doing well lil_me. Keep us posted, hows the cold, have you seen him lately? The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

It's not a cold
found out the bacteria infection is back, not a virus which means I am not of course going to pass things on which is a relief, anti biotics again, but when I was on the phone to his Mam I have arranged to go over next week, no set day yet but she's got a lot on as health visitor, nurse, midwife, babies nurse (from hospital team) and several others visiting today so don't want it getting too much for either of them. With us moving over the weekend of course that is a bad idea to go then so would rather wait until things have settled down. Actually I might have chance to pop over Saturday after I drop the boys off. Will ask her later about that.
Right need to wake DP up, do more packing, see if we can get the garden cleared, need to take a car full to the tip!One day I might be more organised...........

Oh dear, I've been really bad the last couple of days and hardly done anything. Can someone give me a wee kick? (just a little one)
Excuses: IKEA trip took forever, but cleaned out bargain corner, so it's not all bad. Some cracking finds! Knackering though.
Had a client visit last night which I was preparing for, and then didn't get back until 10pm! some people can talk!
OH on nights so can't get into bedroom atm.
Have done:
- lots of ironing
-kitchen is soo tidy and no crumbs anywhere
- recycling gone to tip
- arranged someone to come and pick up the piano on Freecycle
- negotiated a brand new replacement bath for the scratched one which was delivered :T
- Got a quote for bathroom worktop
- Got my replacement cheque
- Got loads of work booked!
- made soup
not too bad actually I suppose.
Bathroom today, have already done PC area. Perhaps some paperwork.
Have a lovely day all,
Check back in later.

5 minutes break while I have a drink.
Lil_me - I meant to say before (but DD distracted me  ) glad little Matthew is doing well. Good luck with the move, and I had noticed you were missing as well, but knew you would be snowed under with jobs
Well I've just dug out the shredder and started shredding papers. Can only do so many at a time as the noise gives me a headache otherwise so thats an on-going job today. Washing is in front of the fire and nearly dry so I'll swap the cloths on the line for the towels when all the clothing is dry, and then finish off the cloths infront of the fire.
I'm trying to rejuggle the desk a bit so I can get my feet under it instead of having to put my feet up on a pile of box-files  Could take me a while. Just wondering if I moved all the household-management books off the bookcase into the kitchen with the cookery books, if I could then move all the files from the bottom of my desk
Also just had my bank on the phone - I'm apparently "pre-approved" for a loan which would cover ALL our debts and then some BUT would cost us £205 a month for 5 yearsSo thats something OH and I will have to sit down and discuss as soon as possible.
