Bought pip implants with a rbs loan

Hi I am wanting to know whether I am able to claim back my loan back which I am also in debt with after getting a loan in 2008 for a great eugmentation to only have bought PIP implants for £4000. I have rang the bank and then have told me that I am not able to but I wanted to ask whether this is true. I stopped paying the loan in 2011 after losing my job and when checking my credit score it’s saying I’m still defaulted. Any info would be much appreciated. :j

Why do you think you can 'claim the loan back'?

They're breast implants (augmentation, not eugmentation) that some individuals have had problems with.

Have you had any problems with your implants OP? What are you planning to claim back if you've failed to pay for so long?
  • Is there a fault with the new boobs?

Was the finance arranged by your healthcare providers?

    Thanks lol

Yes I see my error, lol I was thinking of PPI lol.

    Your on the ball.
  • Yes one of the implants had leaked into my breast which then had to be removed. My friend advised me that her finance company squashed her payments due to the implants being illegal. I know a loan and finance are two different things but just wanted a bit of advise. Thanks x:T

You may be able to pursue a Section 75 claim, which makes the finance provider equally liable if things have gone, er, t!ts up.

The loan provider won't be liable in that case, as they have just provided you with cash.
