Hi Guys, just an update.
I contacted my leasing company about the CHARGE saying I will be dealing with this my self.
they replied:
[FONT="]"We are the registered keepers of the vehicle so we may receive notification of this fine, if we do we will transfer liability to you. Please contact us if you need anything from us for your appeal."

What on earth made you think you should be date-watching this early? Reading threads would tell you it's up to 35 days.
