Just checking in to say I paid another £60 off the CC (Barclaycard) which takes my paid off amount to £657.78 out of the original amount of £18,282.25 =3.6%
In other news I have been offered a class to teach at 7amon Monday morning which I DO NOT WANT TO DO ... However, it is for £18 for the 45m (after tax it would work out as £13.50ish) so my question is... do I tire myself and just get up and do it before my working day starts as something is better than nothing,or do I not do it? It works out about £600 for the year.

DD, just read this and wanted to say, think about the £600 as a percentage of your debt repayments and see if that helps motivate you
I'd like to join here please. I don't mind what number I'm given. I have repaid 2900/10k
I was on the 'save 12k' thread but I think I need to get into the mindset that my regular saver is in fact going to be used to repay my debt when it matures.
I have paid £2900 out of 10k so far and my calculations are that I can repay the 7.1k remaining by Christmas. I make £100 monthly repayments (reducing the debt by 1k by Christmas 6.1k outstanding) and save £250pm in a regular saver which will pay 3.1k in August (3k outstanding). If I keep paying the £250 Sept-Dec that is another 1k I can find leaving 2k outstanding which I will need to make this year.
I am on the 1% challenge for this 2k and 18% of the way there already, so I think it is doable
I will check in monthly.19/12/14: Spent 10 years of savings!!
