Can I please try?
I am at £4873 and I won't get it all gone by Christmas but I will work hard to get as much paid off as possible!0 -
Well I never thought I'd have to return and do this I was SO SURE I'd got a handle on this.
Our debt has increased, it was up at £7,926.37
We also went on holiday and spent more than we'd saved for it, so as of Tuesday we have another card with £668.11
We have a week in france coming up (no accom to pay for, just food/ent) so hopefully we can manage under £550 and not add to it
To add to this, my best friend is getting married (she lives in Canada) so we've booked time there next May. There will be costs associated, but I've made them as low as possible and I'm paying my parents for our part monthly (they are invited and have paid it all up front)
Long story short, I need to restart, but i'm going to include the stuff I've paid since May because otherwise it's too depressing.

By Christmas we WILL be at £4560.00 or I'm going to lose my !!!!.
I feel like a failure. I have never been level my entire adult life. I can't even think about our student debts.2 Credit Cards: PAYDBX 2018 - #131 £1566.37 / £8594.48 18.2%0 -

Don't be too hard on yourself. At least you are aware of it and want to get it cleared...it could be so much worse you could be sat there in denial racking up a huge amount of debt...instead you're jumping back on the debt busting wagon. You'll get there! I always think these things come in ebbs and flows, sometimes you've cleared it all for a year or so and then you end up over spending on a holiday or not getting enough money saved to pay for something outright and you end up on here again trying to clear the debt.
Each time is one less time until you completely crack it!Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -
