Cheap last minute flights before Christmas to Asia/Australia

Is anyone aware of any offers or websites that would offer cheap last minute offers to before Christmas?

I am aware though some of the cheaper tickets have shorter stays - I would settle for this if the price is right.

I can fly out of any UK airport.

I am not sure if something would be possible this close to Christmas.

I reckon your only chances of tickets are cancellations.

If you can fly out last thing on the 24th Dec to Aus, they'll be better availability.
If you can return to the UK leaving 31st Dec, again they'll be more availability.

Yes could go out 24 December. Would not be coming back until the middle of next year though.

Shall check out those sites.

Apologies, it just wasn't nice being accused by another poster (not you but another one) and sorry if I came across of defiant - just had a lot of stuff to deal with as of late. Various things with a disabled family member and its just thrown me off course, but now I need some "me time."

I would want to go to see family Perth Australia before Christmas and return as far as Asia in the new year end of January. If I did this I would want to stop off in Asia on the way back and return a few months later. A ticket with a validity of 6 or 12 months would be perfect.

Another option if that I simply go to see family in the Philippines before Christmas. I can fly into either Manila or Cebu. If I did this I wold want to return several months later so I ticket with 6 to 12 months validity would be good. There is no 'cheap' option for your itinerary and travel times(i.e. a few days before Christmas). Unless you are prepared to cough up £1000, forget about it.
Added to that, you will likely want a ticket that allows for date changes.

If you are prepared to travel earlier, say a couple of weeks before Christmas, you can cost down on costs a little, but not by much.
Man to Perth around £400. Perth to MNL, £150 to £200. MNL to SIN perhaps £50. SIN to London £180. Some luggage costs to be added.

So not much of a difference.

Uncle has said he will pay the difference between that I would usually pay and what I have to pay - but I don't want to take the mickey here.

Away from the holidays, you might pick up a cheapie from one of the Chinese airlines to S.E. Asia Then to use low cost airlines to Perth and back. So perhaps around £700 all in to include the Philippines.
So £1000 just before Christmas isn't terrible.
