Hi All,
I've been looking into both Plus500 and Hargreaves Lansdown to hopefully invest in some companies. I'm 99% set on Hargreaves Lansdown being the huge reputable organisation they are, but who are Plus500 and why do they seem to be able to do the same thing without charging £12 every time I want to invest / withdraw funds?
Any help or advice from people using either of these organisations would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Richard

We've been pleased with HL's service on our SIPPs. If our SIPPs were bigger - say, more than £40k or £50k - we might well have tried to find a firm that's cheaper.
I've never heard of Plus500.Free the dunston one next time too.0 -
With Plus500 you are trading CFDs not shares, a very different proposition

By the looks of it OP you are comparing Apples & Oranges.
HL will give you a platform to support investing into Funds / Companies.
Plus500 will give you a platform to gamble on CFDs, BitCoin etc.

I was searching on the plus500 website for something that mentioned 'CFD' or anything similar, thanks for the link, so obvious now. I'll stick with HL.
Thanks all for your quick responses0 -
