Hi Folks
I seemed to have misplaced my property deed. So, how do I find out the date on which I bought my property and became the legal owner?
Thanks

Hi,
does your solicitor not hold the deeds, or whoever did your purchase transaction?
Edit: check out when you first took out home insurance, signed up for electricity or gas.0 -
Yes, possibly.
I thought there may be another way of finding out.0 -
Bank accounts, mortgage statements, diaries, Rightmove/other online repositories of previous sales, other people you knew at the time who have a better memory than you...or just download the details from the Land Registry.0

Or it your property is in Scotland, Registers of Scotland can trace and send you a copy of your deeds for a smallish fee. Cheaper to do it online, or you can go into their office in Edinburgh and get it there and then.0
