Frozen Milk has turned yellow - is that normal?

I froze single cream just last week and once it had defrosted it curdled and had to throw it, I should have looked on the side of the container, "not suitable for freezing", but I have frozen double cream and milk successfully, but not tried the others.

Alsways think of freezing milk when I run low, then when I buy some I always forget! At least I know what to expect now!
