1. The prize draw is open to all UK residents over 18 excluding employees and their immediate families of Copella Fruit Juices Limited (the “Promoter”), its affiliated companies, their agents or other persons professionally connected with the draw.
2. By taking part in this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. All entries must be submitted online at www.copellafruitjuices/national-apple-day.
4. No purchase necessary.
5. The opening date for receipt of entries is 8th October 2007 and the closing date for receipt of entries is 21st October 2007.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, altered or illegible entries. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed.
7. Only one entry per person. No bulk, consumer group or third party entries will be accepted.
8. The winners will be drawn at random from all valid entries received by the closing date under independent supervision on 22nd October 2007. The first 50 names drawn will each win an apple tree as detailed below. The winner will be notified by email by no later than 30th November 2007. The prize must be claimed by 31st December 2007. All reasonable effort will be made to contact winners, however, if the prize is not claimed by 31st December 2007 an alternative winner will be chosen.
9. There are 50 prizes to be won. The prize consists of a rooted Jonagold variety apple tree, approximately 3 – 4 foot in height which will be boxed and mailed directly to the winners designated address.
10. The prize is non-transferable, non refundable and can not be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. The decisions of the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the prize will be delivered to the winner’s designated address by no later than 31st January 2007. (This may change as the trees can only be transported when dormant, which is dependant on the weather.)
12. The Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
13. Winners may be required to take part in related publicity.
14. Details of the winners will be available on the Promoter’s website.
15. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual’s prior consent
