Does anyone know if it's possible to buy a new heat link? I've had an issue when installing

Have you phoned Nest technical support ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

I've emailed and am waiting for a reply.
Was just wondering if anyone has sourced one before, as I can't see anything when I google them.0 -
Let me guess - have you connected the mains voltage to the 12v terminals and killed the heat link?
You can’t buy the heat link on its own. Your only hope is Nest sell you a replacement or you find one on eBay otherwise you’ll need a new kit.0 -
You're partly right. I'd tested the wires before and got 12v reading, so presumed they were the thermostat ones. However it was in this side that the unit blew.
Oddly I didn't get a reading for any of the other wires.0 -
I've been in touch with Nest tech support asking how much a replacement heat link would cost.
Miraculously they're sending out a replacement free of charge. It look like I've got out of jail!!!0 -

It couldn't have been any better, they never questioned anything. Just asked for some photos then said a new unit would be with me in 2 to 3 days.0

Hoping to get the same courtesy. The screw to secure the live cable on mine is shot. Theyre made to not come out the unit which means the entire unit is broken because of one screw.0
