  • Hi Hidden - can I join in again this year please (#77). My aim is to op / offset the remanining mortgage so that I'll be mortgage neutral by the end of the year (I've deducted my regular monthly payments from the total). So my target is £9,300 for the year.

    Thanks very much.

Is this thread for mortgage advice or purely overpayments?? New to this site and finding my way around it. I'm not great with numbers so any helpful advice appreciated.

Hi Theydontmakeiteasytosave£ ~ This thread is just for OPs but you are more than welcome to join in :D

It may be better to get advice from here, where there's loads of threads that can help you. Or you could post a new one and hopefully someone can help. Good luck and please come back and overpay :j:j

January 2018 over payment made: £500. I managed that amount every month last year, but when I switch mortgage I'll cut the overpayments, therefore I've set a target of 6 months at this, which will be an approximate date of mortgage change I think :) Happy new year to y'all

Can you please include your MFW number (119) in your posts from now on? It saves me a bunch of time. :)
