Morning,
#162 here with September's overpayment. - £751.72
This smashes my yearly target and leaves me with only £300 left in available overpayments for the rest of the year. As a result of this, I've set my own, personal, target for next month as £300 then it's onto getting a head start for 2019's overpayment pot.
Thank you
WishOutstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)

Thanks

#9 with an overpayment for September of £462.71
Our focus has changed slightly, in that not all available money is now going on overpayments, and we are also building up a savings pot to pay off some stooze credit cards. So we are going to miss our annual target, but for good reasons :-)Original Mortgage (Feb '17) £269,995
Current Mortgage (End 11/19) £226,790

#30 here with a September OP of £475.19 - which means I've hit my target for the year! So pleased.
Well done to all those others who've done the same, but also to all of you because an overpayment is an overpayment... it means you're beating the system.
28/9/18 ETA: I realised the month ends at the weekend and I don't ned to keep a buffer in the account as pay is in early so another £307.50 has gone to the mortgage, bringing this month's total to £782.69. It was only possible because we've been away and lived off our 'holiday' savings for a few weeks, meaning the current account stayed well-nourished.
I've also now demolished the second of three sub-sections of the mortgage, leaving only the main chunk to chop to bits.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Can't make another overpayment until the cashback clears and the stupid bills go out, but it is the weekend, so probably no money coming in or going out until Monday. So much for 7 day banking.
All this being patient is really boring.....4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
