problems with Bradford and Bingley

I have tried 6 times to open the online 6.4% savings account.Each time I am told the "memorable name " has the incorrect number of letters.I sent them an e mail expressing my frustration and waited 6 days for an unhelpful reply.I also phoned waited ages and was told that this is a problem but not for everyone ! It's a great rate so I don't want to give up trying to open the account. Anybody else had similar problems ?

Yes Same Prblem For Me I Have Given Up Now Because The Amount Of Money Getting Through To There Pone Line You Lose On Getting The Interest Give Up I Have Now Gone With The Halifax Or Icesave Does A Very Good Rate Arthur0

i had the same problem, i think i had to leave out the space or something like that for example ie alansmith not alan smith0
