It depends on the agent.
I've completed on Xmas Eve before - into a house with a condemned boiler. I still managed to cook Xmas dinner for the family though

Given the last letter i received for my solicitors had about 8 typo's in it and an incorrect date on it i'd say their secretary was definitely on the wind down ..either that or the sherry !:rotfl:0

It's down to the individual conveyancer, some will work up until xmas eve and then back the day after boxing day. Their job isn't just completing sales.
Unlikely this year, Christmas Eve is on Sunday.
