AS WELL as Elmo/Instead of Elmo  Surely Not?? ;) .... Actually, looking at the videos of all 3 of them on YouTube, Elmo, the Cookie Monster and Ernie all seem to do the same action don't they? Its just the voices that change. Maybe they'll venture out of Sesame Street characters soon and get famous comedians laughing - or maybe actors, or politicians? Got any ideas anyone?...

Meanwhile, I noticed the Elmos I mentioned in my first post are also available online - so no need to venture out in the rain in the uGgs (or is it Uggs??) you bought from aussiedirect (see other thread) :rotfl: Link: http://www.woolworths.co.uk/web/jsp/product/index.jsp?pid=50716623

Hey, I just thought of one that I reckon would fit the bill nicely.... LEE EVANS!! Not that I'm that keen on him but could you see him rolling around on the floor like Elmo? :rotfl: :rotfl:

I also forgot to mention quidco for another 5% off - I only joined myself yesterday. By my reckoning, (?!) you could get Elmo for £24.93, with no postage for collecting in store! Wow!

  • i got collected one yesterday at my local store. i think you get more luck in the smaller local stores than the massive ones in town.

has anyone got the cookie monster one? are they just the same as elmo but with a different voice?

Hi, Here is a link (which I think might be above?) to a youtube video of the TMX Cookie Monster.

For those that want (not me!) I understand TMX Cookie Monsters are available on ebay and maybe other places?...

  • My local Tesco had a shelf full of Elmo's (£34.99) and Cookie monsters today (£25). Comes in a similar box to Elmo but smaller but it has a hole in the box where you can tickle him and he laughs and talks.
    Also on line at Tesco.com

Thanks for posting. Was struggling to find something for my friend's kid. Ordered one straight away!

    Cheers!
