Do you still have these forms? If you have, I'd expect then to show another insurance policy. If not, as I said already, we'll never know for certain.

No the forms have been shredded, It was PPI that is certain.
The Co-op stopped selling PPI on credit cards and overdrafts in November 2009, but continued selling PPI on loans until I think January 2011.
Edit:- The loan PPI wasn't single premium, they tried to set it up like MPPI with a separate payment and direct debit. Co-op stopped single premium PPI in January 2009.

Regular premium MPPI is still sold today by many firms. It was the good type of PPI. If all of them had been set up with regular premium standalone then it wouldnt have been a problem.

Strange thing is that standalone PPI doesnt need to appear on the agreement forms.

There was one form for the loan and direct debit, one form for the separate PPI and direct debit and a final form as a summary of the loan and PPI.
The simple fact is that Co-op were still selling PPI on loans after November 2009 which was stated as the cut off point for Co-op selling PPI elsewhere on this thread as they tried to sell it to me in June 2010. I'm just trying to provide some facts which maybe helpful to the original poster.

The simple fact is that they stopped selling the bad type of PPI in 2009 but continued to sell the good type beyond that.

Which would lead me to conclude that the OP, having "originally signed in November 2010" for the loan, could therefore have only taken out the 'stand alone' PPI variant.

Hence it would be obvious if they had PPI, because there would be a flippin DD on their statement every month. Given the OP's question, I'd assume that isn't the case. There is no PPI to claim back. The Co-operative Bank are being neither cunning nor crafty, and are most likely bemused by these repeated requests.:)
