Norton anti-virus on second computer?

Just bought a laptop without anti-virus software on it and my current pc has an up-to-date anti-virus on it. My question is, am i allowed to put it on the second laptop? Or do i need to buy a new copy?

you would need another copy

why not just download AVG free or Avast free Antivirus ??

Not really the ethos of the MSE website. Is it really a legitimate reason to spend more money on something that is less effective and uses more of your computer's resources?

Would you rather have an Aston Martin for free or pay £5000 for a Vauxhall Corsa because that's what you're used to?

Mark you would be far better off scraping Norton all together its not worth its salt.

Avast Anti Virus or AVG are better and also constantly upgrade and download the latest definitions too. Oh and they are free of charge.

It maybe all you have ever used but Norton has its flaws.

Hi, my Norton is due for renewal, if i use AVG instead, how do i fully get rid of Norton from my compter.

just go to Add/remove prgrams and do it from there
