    my daughter was 10 when we got her the toys r us one.
    its perfect.
    has stayed in good condition and along side the various dolls she uses she has bought some 'proper' dolls house stuff

    Hi Elliebabe, see my post #6 above. I bought my 10 year old a "proper" dolls house last year. Much better than the childs one at that age.

    The Netto one looks good for that price! Unfortunatly there are no Nettos near me :(

    I think the Toys r us one wins for me - I was also thinking when they are older I could just replace all the little bits with 'proper' dolls house stuff, the actual house isnt at all childish so if should last the long haul.

    Having visions of my girls in their 20's fighting over who gets to keep it though lol
    Though thats easily solved - if it comes to that IM keeping it :P
