Dyson V8 or Shark?

Have a V8 Absolute and it has changed our life! As above, so easy to do a quick whizz around for 5 mins, we have a hairy dog so it's amazing for that.

However, I have friends who work at Dyson, and gave me a 50% voucher, prob wouldn't have bought one without that.

The Dyson V8 is much better than shark cordless on carpet. There is a video on YouTube comparing them on carpet and the Dyson totally blows away the shark cordless.

Another reason to get the Dyson V8 is the HEPA filter which the shark does not have. The motor in the Dyson is way more advanced than the one in the shark and is the reason why the shark cannot even handle a HEPA filter.

In one or two of their videos, shark compares their corded vacuums with the old model dyson V6 cordless. This deceptive advertising comparing corded with cordless is another reason why I don't like shark.

The video is of a Dyson V7, which me might be able to afford, but the V8 is far too expensive!

FYI - QVC UK have the latest V8 with loads of accessories on special today - you can also pay in £100 installments over the next 4 months!... I'm so tempted..

Included are the cover cleaning head, the fissure cleaner, a delicate tidying brush, the mix head that broadens, the purported creature hair cleaner, and a connection for cleaning exposed floors. I completely adore this vacuum. Exceptionally prescribe. What's more, obviously it accompanies the divider mount!

For what it's worth, we have had a Dyson V8 animal for about a year now and it's been fantastic. Over time the battery started to get weaker and from last week, a charge would only last for about 2-3 minutes..
Called Dyson and they sent us out a free new battery, it's as new now and works perfectly again - especially on the high power mode to grab all the dog hair off the carpet.
