Hi
I did this last summer, I had a free copy of the book on the front of some magazine.
Anyway, Yes, it did work. The first two weeks I lost over a stone, and the second two weeks, lost another half a stone.
After 4 weeks, I started excercising and im now down to 9stone 4lbs, and Im 5foot 5inches and generally quite a stocky build!! I have to say, it was really easy, simply because you can eat loads and i didnt get hungry, and didnt have to spend a fortune (thank you Aldi - they have this gorgeous salmon in olive oil, basil and caper sauce, in the freezer section, its £2.29 for 2 pieces, whack it in the over for 25 mins, add salad and loads of broccoli!).
Unfortunately, I havent had much time recently to cook and stuff, so have been stuffing my face with bread, pasta, sugar and rice, and a bit of weight has come back. As soon as I finish my exams (tomorrow - Yippee!!) then Im back on it.
Best way was to be strict in phase 1, and then lessen the strictness as it says in the book. You might have to go back onto phase 1 for a week here and there, especially if you have fallen off the wagon, but in all, i found that it was great, I never felt heavy after eating, never hungry, and my skin got so much better...
Anyhoo, back to the work, good luck, and dont have those god-awful spinach and egg breakfast cakey things - awful!!

Hi, I did this from that free book last summer as well and it was really good - I didn't feel like I was on a diet, just thinking more about meal planning (which helps with budgeting anyway, but that's another thread). It also fit in well with family meals as we could all have the same, with added tatties for my OH. I lost about 1/2 stone in 3 weeks, and have stuck with the healthy eating / low GI principles since and am slowly but surely approaching the size & shape I'd like.
Good luck!£2 savers club - £62
Relaunched grocery challenge:
March target: £150 on food, £50 on other stuff - still not doing very well at keeping track...
