dodgy hug time lynne. for hubby being made redundant unexpectedly, for your rotten cold.

Does this affect you and DH going to work abroad next year?

so sorry for both of you. It's a horrible feeling being made redundant even if you are expecting it. Unexpected is even worse.
Thank you Aesop - though not sure about the dodgy hugs :D

We are still hoping to hear about our job abroad - probably get more info next month. Meanwhile having to jump through endless hoops to get what should rightfully be DH's redundancy and notice payments etc. Oh well.

Lynne......so sorry to hear your news about husbands job. It amazes me how many companies seem to lay off staff just before Christmas. I know anytime is a bad time to lose your job but Christmas is a really really horrible time for it to happen.

Hope he gets everything due to him! XX

Thanks a million for the support :D

This is a biggie - about 2,500 gone and the other 900 hanging

Running around trying to sort all the forms etc - bit of a 'mare but we'll get there. Not really had the time or incentive today to concentrate on money making :(

Tomorrow have some more 'stuff' to sort out and then get the place ready for the new windows coming on Friday, so don't think I'll really get back to it until after all that.

Hope you all have a great couple of days and do well
