Credit Crunch - Is It Having Any Effect ??

Either the credit crunch is a myth, or MBNA are totally unaffected !! Haven't used my card for months, and have a £9 credit on the account after overpaying it.
Got an e-mail yesterday and a letter today advising my credit limit had been more than doubled to over £9k
Is this happening elsewhere out there, or is this a rare case at the moment ???
