Has anyone got these fitted along with the powerwall? Seriously considering enquiring about fitting them to our house.
Does anyone know the actual cost and how they install it?

I cant imagine anyone has them installed in the UK.
They only started installation on some employees houses in august. Id be suprised if theres actually any physically in the country. (Edit ive just looked, theyre shipping them from next year)
Definite pricing also hasnt been released and will be dependent on your property (ive seen guide prices of $23 per sqft but stuff is inevitably always more expensive in the UK). The power wall your looking at about £6k supply and install from what ive read.
everything you need to know....

Im not against the product at all but if you want to be an early adopter be prepared to pay a heavy premium. I can imagine the payback period will be quite large.0 -

Thanks! Might leave it for a little while as they start mass-producing them to bring the price down a bit, we do need a new roof (garden side) we did have the street side done a year ago so I thought it could potentially be a good alternative.
Not causing any hassle either way so I'll await until Tesla can give a decent price for them instead of $23/sqft (currently would need to pay $18400 for just the tiles alone. + Battery.[STRIKE]1/12/16 - £152,599.00 [/STRIKE]

Our PV system exports about 1100kWh per annum. If we had a Powerwall and so stored and used that amount we would save about £150 pa.off our electricity bill. That's a 40 year payback time as compared with 9 years for the PV system. Not a wise purchase.0
