Insurance Claim (Write off Motorbike)

My motorbike was written off in october and 2 weeks ago the defendant accepted liability. I had a phone call from my insurance company MCE insurance/plantec saying they will call me within 5-10 days and i should get paid. They said the mechanic has valued the bike at £1975. But you prob wont get this as its up to the other insurance to decide how much they going to pay.

Any way been over 2 weeks no phone call nothing i tried ringing them twice they said they will get back to me the same day but no phone call. Really annoying.
How long does it take for pay out after liability has been sorted.
Any one eles had any similar incidents?

Rang them today and they are sending me a cheque for £1975.
