I want to buy a Divx DVD Player and has option of either
Philips DVP5960 [Multi-region capable DVD Player with HDMI and upscaling to 1080i]
or
Philips DVP5160
Which is better? What is HDMI /upscaling??
Please help

Have a look at these two. They can explain it better than me0 -
If you've got an HD Ready LCD or Plasma TV, or are thinking of getting one in the near future, then the 5960 is probably your better bet.
If not, then the 5160 will be fine.
Having a multi-region player is a good bet either way, imho.0
