    Jetset,

    Are you a travel agent?
    Gone ... or have I?

    I am a Travel Agent

My ATOL number is 0230. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Travel Agent, so you need to take my word for it but Atol numbers can be checked on the Civil Aviation Authority website. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Travel Agent Code of Conduct.

get a price for the same cruise from these people they will beat the price

    www.1st4cruising.com/
    www.gillscruise.com/
    www.savensail.com/

get your lowest price then call them what you have been quoted is expensive for the OV
OV is same sort of cruise as the NCL ones but not as nice (done the OV twice)
Thomsons are OK but again if its Thomsons thats quoted that its still far to expensive (done 5)
And if its Island cruises your being robbed...lol (done 1 too many)
With the dollar being so weak its never been cheaper to go on the good ships

Anyone thats been on these ships will tell you
    1st NCl
    2nd OV
    3rd Thomsons

    10th Island Cruise

Kevin...its fine to book with an American site as long as you use your CC
Windjammer of HT and a few more nearly always use the American site but if you dont feel right doing it book with www.ncl.com not www.ncl.co.uk
it will be a few more dollars but it might be wrth it for peace of mind.
I do know Windjammer as used BPC with no trouble and his bookign as showed straight away onteh NCL site but its completley upto you how you fell comfortable in booking but which ever way use your CC even if they charge a few dollars to do so

Just about getting round to booking a cruiise when I found this thread. There are savings to be had by booking through a US agent such as- www.vacationstogo.com as recommended by savapenny and others. one thing that concerns me is that if I were to book through an ABTA bonded agent in the UK I would be protected but the same would not apply if I booked through a US agent. Is this just a chance I have to take, presumably I would have some recourse to the credit card company if something catostrophic were to happen. I would welcome any comments from you experts out there.

    Thanks in anticipation
