Remove mortice lock from door? Unlocked and screws removed but stuck in there.

I want to remove a mortice lock, to replace it.
I've removed the two screws on the side of the door and removed the plate there. I've unscrewed the inside and outside face plates. I don't see any more screws.
I've tried using a flat-head screwdriver and other similar tools to pry it out, with no luck. I've been fairly forceful but held back a bit since I'm wary of damaging the door or making the mortice hole unusable.
I don't have a key for the lock, and it's in its unlocked state. So I can't grip the deadbolt with pliers.
Anything else to try?
As a new user I'm apparently not allowed to include proper images, but maybe if you copy-paste these into a browser you can see the lock as it is now:

Push a bar through the keyhole and hit it alternating sides.0

Cut round the edge to make sure its not being held in by paint. Bar or screwdriver through keyhole so you can pull it towards you from both sides. Hold a piece of flat wood on the door edge and lever against that.
Does it move at all?0 -
Hi,
Thank you so much! I cut round the edges, put a long hex key through the hole, and hit it on alternating sides, and it came out.0
