Radiators/Thermostat

Hi, need some advice about the heating in our bungalow. We only moved in to here in July so didn't need the heating then.
The living room is small, with a double (large) radiator and the thermostat is also in this room.
The bedroom is bigger than the living room and has a single medium sized radiator. The problem is that the living room gets warm really quickly and then the thermostat switches it off, but the bedroom is cold.
I've thought about maybe having a bigger radiator put in the bedroom but if it keeps going off then would it still be cold?
I can't turn the radiator down in the living room as there's no TRV on it.
Could I have a TRV on the living room and not in the bedroom?
If none of those options are going to work I'm thinking of an oil filled radiator for extra heat.
Any ideas? TIA.

3 questions:-
1 Is the Thermostat hard wired to the boiler controls, or is it wireless? If it is wireless you can place the thermostat sensor where you wish.( And swap over the TRV)
2 do you know if the system has been balanced( the flow of water through the radiators.)
3 are there other radiators and an indirectly heated water tank on your system.

I can't turn the radiator down in the living room as there's no TRV on it. It's usual for the radiator that's in the same room as the thermostat to not have a TRV - to have a TRV on that would be largely counter-productive.

It may not be a huge issue for a bedroom if you're only going to use it for a small amount of time as a bit of a top-up, and this could well be a reasonably cost-effective solution - as well as causing minimal disruption.

My thoughts in bold above. I also agree with the suggestion from dggar - it would be well worth investigating moving the thermostat, perhaps to a hallway or similar. Even if it's not a wireless thermostat, it wouldn't hurt to get a quote from a suitably-qualified heating engineer to see how much it would cost to move/replace it.

2 Yes it's been balanced
3 Yes 4 radiators in total (1 bed bungalow) and no to the water tank.
