Help enabling message/e-mail on DZ09 smartwatch

Hey all....bought a cheapo watch (smart bluetooth) from Chine....only around £7-80! To be honest I've got it to show my address book & to recievie/answer calls....at the price I paid I'm very happy to have just this functionality-much safter than trying to put your smart phone on hands free in the car or scrabbling in pockets in town to hear it! Call quality pretty good.

I have a Samsung galazy mini s3. Obviously I've successfully paired the bluetooth but it keeps mentionig 'install bot notifyer' when I click to check SMS. I've downloaded the notifyer & another similar one (pur DZ209 in google play store) but still does not work. I've scanned the 'QR' code on smart watch-when trying to download APK file I get 'can't parse package/programme' or on a zip version 'we do not have the application to open'.

Any ideas????? If it's urber complicated I'll leave it as it is but am I missing something?????? As I said....not 'huge' shakes' if I can't get the SMS and/or e-mail to function at that price it's paid for itself. By the way-no micro sim inserted if that makes any odds.

Edit.....just to let you know old android system on Samsung......4.1.2. 'Some' sites online say minimum 4.3....but got the below to work!

Well....just by luck I went upstairs with watch on.....got the ' you are not connected to Bluetooth' message. (Obviously out of range). Bought watch back downstairs nearer to phone and used the Bluetooth death on watch to recconct. Low and behold....SMS connected and received!!!??? Prior to this I did go into phone settings , as per a you tube video and enabled all BT ' notification' settings.

Still n e mail settngs/messages...tried googling but not clear if it can ' mirror' e mail from Samsung. Any ideas?

As usual....Chinese 'instruction' manual is crap and any other PDF instructions online are equally crap!

Any ideas kind people?:beer:

*****edit edit (+!)......have had one e mail title come in.....click on it and does not open/show e mail content???!! The. plot thickens...lol!

I have an even cheaper U8, its quite good and had to borrow someones car recently with no handsfree and the watch was idea for that.

Download the APK and install it manually?

Not tried emails, on that small screen it would be rather useless.

Thanks for the reply! The original link and QR code does not work. I have tried other solutions by googleing and searching on play store.

Everything works.....apart from 'some' ( not all) e mails not coming in. The ones that do come in, if you click 'view' no content is shown. All 'notification' settings are on and enabled on Samsung smart phone.

Double bumpety bump lol (!)...this cheapo smart watch would be FAB if only I could view the e-mails....notifies of e-mail arrival but click 'view' & .....nothing.

OK.....can't see how that would help view e mails but thanks for the post.

Anyone else have any ideas? Just to noe there is no sim/SD card in watch....just connects to smartphone via Bluetooth.
