Using Amazon Alexa Skills with you Laptop/Web Browser

So much action with Alexa devices this year, the number of devices across houses in 2018 will be massive.
Thinking about having a look at getting one to see what the fuss is all about.
For those people that use Alexa Skills, is it possible to use Skills ask a question and get a URL link sent to your phone/laptop or web browser for example perhaps via email or SMS? Any Skills out there that can do this?

Not that I'm aware of as it would make a lot more sense just to use an assistant on the phone instead, some phones now offer Alexa, IOS devices offer Siri, most Android devices have Ok Google plus recent Samsung devices have Bixby as well.
