Bought some vouchers - wrong ones - can I get a refund?

Hi,
I bought some vouchers on timeout for a meal at a Restaurant but ended up getting the wrong ones.. It did say "no refunds or exchanges".. However, does the Sales of good act apply here?
Each voucher does have a unique code, but I am sure Timeout could cancel theses.. I just want to exchange for the ones I intended to buy..
I have emailed to ask for an exchange or refund, but have only just sent this, so haven't heard back yet.
Thanks,
Danny

You need to instead refer to The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.0 -
So, Reading on https://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/consumer-contracts-regulations#information-you-should-expect
“Exemptions There are some contracts where you won’t have a right to cancel a service. For example, hotel bookings, flights, car hire, concerts and other event tickets, or where the trader is carrying out urgent repairs or maintenance.”
I’ve a feeling what I’ve bought might be classed as an event ticket although to use voucher I have to make a direct booking with Restuant and use voucher as payment..
Does that sound right?0 -
Doubt if a meal is classed as an Event under the CR.0
