Pre Registered Ford Fiestas

A couple of years ago a friend purchased a Pre Registered Ford Focus which only had just over 50 miles on the clock. ( I think this was only the delivery mileage). The saving against a new Ford Fiesta was huge. Are Pre Registered ford still available and where would I find them listed.

  • It's down to the dealer. They normally pre-register them around certain month ends when they are getting bonused on their sales volume.

There are lots of ways of getting nearly new - manager's cars and so on. Decide what car you are after and start scouting around, AutoTrader is as good a place as any, and call in at your local dealer and see what they are offering.

Walk into any Ford dealership and ask them.

Get a quote from a broker such as drivethedeal. They can usually get 20% off a Ford, can be higher depending on model and spec.

    +1

    Also https://www.broadspeed.com

You should be able to easily get 15-20% there off a brand new one, for January 2018 delivery.

Any pre-reg cars will be 2017 registered, which will impact on residuals so factor that in. Also theres subsidised finance rates (1.2%) on a NEW car, which wont be available on a pre-reg.

And if they're still doing what they did when I bought my new Fiesta 2 years ago you get a big chunk off the list price without even asking if you take their finance - at 1.2% you may want to keep the finance going, but if you have the cash available you can just pay it off once you have the car.
