  • I bought a tin of soup at work, reduced to 10p. But since I found 20p on the floor, I spent -10p really!

ohhh grab me a bar :rotfl:

Well, I'm just back from Tesco's - not a lot of reductions, although I did get some good 'deli' counter cooked meats, and some reduced price 'ciabata' rolls - should be enough for the week's lunches. :j
I also stocked up on biscuits (Tesco Value of course) as we haven't had a biscuit in the house since Tuesday.
And yes, PaP, I did buy a bar of chocolate, but I have to confess it wasn't the 'value' because they only had the small bars - instead I bought a bar of 'Finest' Belgian Milk Chocolate - 200 grammes for 89pence. :shhh: :naughty: :shhh:

    Total spend - £4.46. :T :T

  • having a very bad day here, so just ordered a takeaway - £12. if there was a shop nearby I'd ask OH to go and find the biggest box of chocolates he could, but thankfully for the budget there isn't.

    Evening all!

Good news about your pay PAP! :T Wish mine would go in 2 weeks early.... :D

    OK I spent today:

£19 on rail ticket - to go & see family I haven't seen for two & a half years!! So I don't begrudge that at all.

£3.05 (I think) on a cup of tea & a cinnamon Danish pastry on the train :naughty: - I just can't resist.

Whoever thought the day would come when rail food was actually tempting!? :rotfl:

  • thanks pap, I am just grumpy and feeling a bit alone. I sort of wish I had friends on this site, maybe I thought I did and it's come as a surprise that I don't. I find it really hard to open up, and I've been trying - but it's just ignored, so I guess I don't belong.

LookingAhead - you have me drooling - those cinnamon danishes are too good - probably no nutritional value but they make up for it with sugar, mmm.
  • Hi PAPs and everyone

NSD for me today. Spent all day at work but can't complain really, earned £400 today for 8 hours of work, not bad at all.

    Cheers
