I've contacted Ebay and I have to wait till Saturday to pass it over to Ebay but I understand they tend to side with seller.

And Pun is right. The money is being held by PayPal so there's no question of me keeping the money - you don't have that option.

Thanks Soolin for letting me know about opening a business account.

The buyer is unfortunately just being bullish and quite abusive now so i don't think I'll message them any more.

The moment a buyer starts being abusive I will no longer correspond with them. I'm assuming a case is open? If so be very careful about letting eBay intervene, its all done by robot and a seller rarely ever wins a SNAD. If you lose then buyer doesn't have to return item (although you can make arrangements to collect ) and you lose your FVFs.

  • Not that it will help you with the ebay case, but have you tried to track the buyer down on social media?

If you happen to stumble upon an incriminating photo of the buyer wearing the blouse, which you then brought to their attention, they may change their attitude.

They have left you negative feedback and they will win the case. You have nothing to lose.

Can I just ask a question. If Ebay rule for her does she get a refund and to keep the blouse?
Am I better to just accept the blouse back?
    Thanks for your help.

Post 6 and post 13 on this thread. If you lose a case the buyer gets their refund, you don't get your FVFs refunded and buyer is told they don't need to return the blouse. At that point you would need to contact buyer quickly and firmly to make arrangements to collect the blouse.

You will highly likely lose this case so don't let it time out. Just accept the item back. If it does come back worn then report the buyer and see if you can resell it as used.
