Makes perfect sense to me, I use it for evil purposes(planning World Domination, keeping the Kardashians in the public eye etc) so would vote Option 1.
Not voting though as I don`t want people to know about my plans ;)
So you are voting 1 - Facebook is good or evil. Clear as mud.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

    here's a tip....
    In facebook . com

Go to the settings page and locate "Adverts" option

You'll be given a page with a number of items :

    #Your interests

    #Advertisers you've interacted with

    #Your information

    #Ad settings

click on the top 2 and remove ALL items listed....
(This might take the better half of a week!! lol!! ) ;)

Then in the "Ad Settings" option tun off all ads so you'll only get default general ads rather than targeted ones..

Saved your Xmas for you in a couple of easy time consuming steps....

    actually nope...
...very carefully on a computer that never connects to Facebook,

Nothing about NOT being on Facebook, just on a PC that is not logged into Facebook currently....

Possible to assume the someone in the OP's house is a Facebook user on another machine (at the same IP address!) and facebook joins the dots ;)
Since the "other half" noticed it on Facebook...

Fair comment , but the poll question is a nonesense and the fact the other half knew before the op clicked on pay ...so why continue to pay ...

Trolls must be getting lazy, not even a half baked attempt.

So facebook that you never use told your wife about a present that you had not bought.

Thats nothing, On valentines day my postman delivered flowers and chocolates to my wife before i had even realised it was valentines day.
How clever of him, he didnt even ask me to pay. cool eh.

Was this a shared computer? Surely sharing a computer is like sharing a toothbrush unless it's a totally separate user account without root access.
Is this a reference to agonising root canal fillings?
