So you are voting 1 - Facebook is good or evil. Clear as mud.Makes perfect sense to me, I use it for evil purposes(planning World Domination, keeping the Kardashians in the public eye etc) so would vote Option 1.
Not voting though as I don`t want people to know about my plans
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -

here's a tip....
In facebook . com
Go to the settings page and locate "Adverts" option
You'll be given a page with a number of items :
#Your interests
#Advertisers you've interacted with
#Your information
#Ad settings
click on the top 2 and remove ALL items listed....
(This might take the better half of a week!! lol!! )
Then in the "Ad Settings" option tun off all ads so you'll only get default general ads rather than targeted ones..
Saved your Xmas for you in a couple of easy time consuming steps....Laters

Possible to assume the someone in the OP's house is a Facebook user on another machine (at the same IP address!) and facebook joins the dots
Since the "other half" noticed it on Facebook...Laters
