Heating issue

Hope someone can offer some assistance.
We rent this house which has a kind of conservatory built on, which is open to the rest of the house. The problem is it has a plastic roof and the previous owner constructed it himself (he was a carpenter) so the frames are all wooden.
The room is a blessing in the summer and a curse in the winter.
During the colder months, this room makes our entire house freezing. We are all literally walking around in blankets. Sitting in the lounge, we can feel an icy draft and the conservatory itself is Baltic.
Unfortunately we only have storage heaters and although there is one in there, it is pretty pointless putting it on as it doesn't feel like it has done anything. Not only that, but having only two storage heaters on overnight, we rack up a daily electric cost of about £6 a day.
We have hung thermal curtains up between the house and the room which has helped to a degree, but we were hoping there was more we could do. Any suggestions ?

Do you only have 2 storage heaters or you only switch 2 on ?
2 heaters aren’t much to heat a houseI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0
