First Universal credit

Hi,

I’m looking for some advice on applying/process of universal credit. The reason I’m having to apply for it is because I’m due to move into a new area that has already rolled it out. This may be a silly question but when I apply online which postcode do I put? The address I’m at now or new address (move in 2 weeks). I also receive working and child tax credit, is it true this will stop for at least 6 weeks until I get my first UC payment?

Any advice is really appreciated.

Thanks

Other than tax credits what other benefits do you claim? Housing benefit?

You wouldn't be able to put a claim in for your new address until you've moved, when this happens you'll put your new postcode in.
