PPI refund

I have had a decision upheld by shop direct for PPI and all interest and charges to be refunded from 06/05/06 to 01/05/08 the PPI I paid amounts to £377 I was expecting 8% interest but the interest calculated for this amount is £1.12. I have queried it with them and they said they don't pay the interest on the PPI amount, they can't send me a breakdown of the £1.12 because "it's done by a calculator" can anybody help me check if this is correct please ?

I think you are right to question it. You should be able to get a breakdown of the calculator inputs rather than just the £1.12.
  • Hi I have asked them for a breakdown but they can't give it to me the only thing I can do is possibly raise it with the FOS.
