Solved Remove unwanted gmail account from tablet?

I have more than one gmail email account and I managed somehow to link two of them on my Android tablet so that every time I check my email on it it checks both accounts.

I tried signing out to all devices from my computer but my Android tablet is still signed in.

How can I unlink them?

I've tried deleting one of them from my tablet and was given the option of sending a message to a non gmail account which I have done but it seems then I only have the option to delete the whole email account from Google.

Most tablets are Android based so to get rid of surplus accounts (these only remove them on the tablet not from Google's servers) you typically go into Settings -> Accounts and you should be able to remove them from there.

Note that some applications that you sign into also store their logins here so if you remove the lot you may find you need to resign back into some apps.

Problem solved, I wasn't in the correct menu.
