Help please. Ex transferring money out of joint account

    Thanks, all, for your thoughts and insights. I thought an update might be interesting.

    With solicitor's help, discovered that the ex has lied about the full amount of bank charges recovered: it's £4+ k, not £2+! She was trying to keep £2 k and split the other £2 k 50-50. Charming, eh?

    Upshot: She has to submit the entire amount of refunded bank charges to his solicitor by the end of this week. Solicitor will oversee paying off of the inhibition and then will disburse the remaining refund, taking into account payments already made by B/F towards this and, if possible, the legal fees in dealing with this particular issue.

    Have to say I'm a bit stunned by her greed and deceit.
    Still waiting for Dyson to bring out a ride-on hoover...
