Cheap skiing hol. please

I wander if anybody could recomend ar advise on skiing holiday. I`d like to go 2.2.08 for a week 1adult + 3kids (12.10.9y.old). All inclusive would make my life easier, don`t mind as long as the ski school is close to the place.
Thank you

Hi Pinkpong- I am not a skier, but I have been to Banff in Canada for a winter holiday and the travel worked out cheaper than going to Switzerland plus it was cheaper to eat/spend there too. I have been there twice; once in 1998 and later in 2004.

From what people have told me, the snow is better to ski on in Canada, and after Christmas, the prices go down dramatically. Your only problem would be finding a company that would do a holiday for one week as my wife and I went for 10 days both times but I am sure there would be deals around. There is lots to do around there on top of the skiing as well.

    Hope this is of help.

Wow, thank you for your replies. I wasn`t prepared to fly that far, but will look at it now if it`s cheaper than europe. The thing is I will have to be put in and picked up from the hotel, ski school is a must.

I know in Banff, Inghams arranged all the passes and picks ups etc as there are regular buses running up and down from the slopes as this is there main source of income. Most hotels will have pickups from the lobby at set times.
