National parking enforcement letter

Hi,
Hopefully somebody can help. I received a letter today from National parking enforcement. A notice to the keeper of a parking charge of £100 or £60 if paid Within 14 days. The charge has stated that the driver was parked in a car park for 15minutes and failed to produce a ticket. The driver has stated that they failed to see any clear notices stating that you need a ticket this was in Miller walk car park in fakenham. Where do a stand as the keeper of the vehicle?

Everyone is politely asked to read up on this in the Newbies FAQ thread near the top of the forum before starting a new thread
Go there now to learn about the game you are now caught up in and how and when to appeal0 -
Quite baffled by it all in that thread was just hoping for a bit of guidance0
-
There's a lot to take in - don't overload.
Take it in chunks and go over it till you understand
It gives you guidance by way of chapter and verse on what to do (and say) in an initial appeal right through to defending in court
Concentrate on the initial appeal0 -
At this time confine yourself to the first post in the NEWBIES thread.
You will see that there are two sample appeal templates.
Your first task is to decide which one to use.
All the information you need to make that decision is explained there.0 -
But once I’ve appealed what happens if it all get thrown back in my face and The driver has have to pay out £100 instead of £600
-
And also something that will not help is not updating my v5 as it’s still registered to my old address but have a letter redirection in place currently which runs out soon. I’ll need to provide my new address to this company, will it cause me issues?0

You can add your new address as a line in your appeal. (Failure to notify them can cause you issues! eg a court claim years in the future could result in you getting a ccj without knowing anything about it)And also something that will not help is not updating my v5 as it’s still registered to my old address but have a letter redirection in place currently which runs out soon. (Get your car properly registered at DVLA - you could have more problems if they or the police try to get you)0 -
Look at this page:
What are the chances of them deciding to take you to court when they have not taken anyone to court over the last three years?
And why would you pay anything without a court ordering you to do so?0 -
If it’s unlikely to succeed, how will that result in me not paying?0
