Claiming JSA while partner works zero hours contract

I am claiming JSA while I look for work. My partner is getting carer's allowance right now but she is starting part time work next month on a zero hours contract. She won't receive her first wages until the end of January and in the mean time her carer's allowance payments will stop as she needs to supply 3 month's worth of wage slips before they can assess whether she is earning below the earnings cap. I am concerned that my JSA will stop as well once she starts the new job and we will not have any income for the next couple of months. Will this be the case?
