Hello. Just bought this model but upon looking at available online product specifications I couldn't see any mention of built in Freeview. Is it possible even if it's a decent model and has a freesat built in?

Does it have an aerial socket?
If yes, then it can presumably receive freeview.
Edit: According to Google it is Freeview enabled.

All televisions sold in the UK can receive free to air digital TV transmissions. This has been true for many many years. Some can additionally receive free to air satellite transmissions.0

As above. Our Samsung has an aerial and satellite F connector.0

They are all apps nowadays on the newer smart tv`s (BBC Iplayer ..ITV Hub ..UKPlay etc etc)
My LG connects up to them via wifi on what they call Freeview play
Guessing the Samsung does something similarHave a nice day

Thanks all but no answer is actually giving me certainty. I hope you are right and it is built in already but it was strange to me as when reviewing dozen of other makes and models, specification always states whether there is a freeview built in or freeview hd. This one didnt but will try to find again online.0

Given that the last analogue TV transmitter got turned off half a decade ago what makes you think that Samsung would sell a post 2012 TV to the UK market without a Freeview tuner? This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
