only since yours was !! (a stupid and unwarranted reply)
until then the info and advice was correct (the first 6 posts were sensible)0 -
My reply was light hearted but i guess everyone is very serious here.
If i had thought to go on Google and search for ceo name i would have done that. But since the person who suggested it went so far to find it on Google i would thought it would have been easy and helpful to provide the details.
But no worries0 -

yes it would have been easy for them to do that , but its also spoon feeding instead of teaching those asking how to do things for themselves , as self research is the key here
we point people at information and advice , or techniques on searching the forum or the internet , but we do not spoonfeed people as that just makes them lazy and incapable of doing it for themselves
remember , people are volunteers here , we dont have to answer or reply , which would then mean you get no replies (as does alienating the regulars on here who give up their spare time free of charge)
sarcasm breeds contempt, its not clever either , plus you should be glad of any useful replies, however "obvious" the advice may seem
I suggest you try answering dozens of posts 24/7/365 on here, and not just stick to your own thread , it will certainly teach you something about the lack of simple resource and endeavour that abounds in this country (where people expect all the answers at the click of their fingers)
if you read my first reply to you, it was to read the "bible" thread , which you should have done given that you already had help on here previously so should know the ropes
good luck0 -
I recieved help to help me overturn the Lidl ticket i got and i am very appreciative of that hence why i have cone back for assistance this time.
The sarcastic reply, although with humour attached, was in response to what i felt to be a derogatory comment. But I'm willing to hold my hands and say maybe i got my wires crossed and apologise. However i would add that i got the ceo details for Lidl com this forum so i had an expectation of the same happening this time.
Let's draw a line under this subject from this point0 -

Its always a good idea to go for a landowner cancellation, or at a very least get a the landowner does not want the parking company to pursue this
Most people believe these things to be fines/penaltys etc, and quite a few site managers/landowners will believe the same, small businesses and other groups can be a victim of the PPC as well, as the PPC will start driving away legitimate business, big corporations should have a legal team to check through things.
So as it stands the landowner may have swallowed the PPCs spin, hook, line and sinker, with regards to cancellations, plus there can also be a sting in the tail where the landowner can only intervene and get so many tickets cancelled - after that the PPC charges the landowner for each direct cancellation.
This is where getting a landowner does not support the parking company pursuing this comes in, as without landowner authorisation the parking company can not pursue this matter in court and it should also win at POPLA and IAS ( the later in theory) .
Once armed with a landowner does not support this matter you should contact the PPC informing them of this, telling them that they must now cease pursuing this, they should remove your details from their system, and other than a confirmation of this, and an apology you do not want to hear from them over this again.
Should they try court, this should set things up nicely for a claim for un reasonable behaviour and a possible data protection act breach. From the Plain Language Commission:

As well as chasing the landowner, CEL are very likely to cancel on receipt of a forum template initial appeal from the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1 (blue text version). If that doesn’t work, it should be easily disposed of at POPLA.
What you don’t want to let happen, by missing the deadlines for initial appeal (and POPLA if necessary), is for CEL to issue court papers, when you will have a greater hill to climb (still winnable - but a lot more work to do). Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Thank you. With the previous ticket from Lidl once i contacted ceo they agreed to cancel it and i never contacted the parking company again.
I have managed to get QDs ceo name and address from Google.:) I'll email today but the ticket here is different to Lidl as QD had a ticket machine in the car park. Although it wasn't working there was an option to pay by phone. This is obviously no good for those who don't have a mobile or only use cash. So I'll have to write my email on the basis of having only cash. Unless you guys think there is something better i should include.
And i will also send the appeal in using the given template.0 -

Standard forum advice for submitting your initial appeal:And i will also send the appeal in using the given template.Make sure that your initial appeal is sent to the PPC by their deadline date, normally 28 days from the date on the NtK, otherwise you can kiss goodbye to POPLA.
Also, equally important in the submission of the initial appeal, you follow precisely the method by which they require you to send the appeal. If it says by email, don’t send it by post (or vice versa). If it asks for the keeper’s name and full postal address - give it, don’t provide an email address instead, or try to be clever with a M Mouse, Orlando, Florida!
Be careful of any drop down box if the appeal is via a website appeals portal, that defaults to ‘I am/was the driver’ - make sure that isn’t shown when you press the ‘Send’ button. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
